Stephen Koritta is a Singer/songwriter with an emphasis on acoustic folk and jazz. Active in the St. Louis/ Southern Illinois area for over twenty years, he has performed as a solo artist and with several bands throughout his career. He has contributed vocal, instrumental and co-writing support on many recording projects, most notably, on Fred Clark’s Living in Dakin’s Neighborhood album (2000) and Jon Thomas & Friends, Green With Passion (2002).  

He is currently recording and performing as a member of Charlotte Street with Mark Chapman. The duo has two recordings; ‘Til the Cops Come – EP (2015) and Above the Fold: Cover Stories. (2016)

Poet Stephen’s poems have appeared in River King Poetry Supplement and Moon Reader. He is author to two books of poetry: Talksho: Haiku & Senryu (2003) and Vocal Folds (2009) 

Stephen has recorded and released four solo albums; First-time Caller (2017) , Bachelor of Arts. (2018), One Long Night (2019), Our Finest Day EP (2020) Clique of One (2022) and, most recently, Mindset EP (2022)

Stephen has been songwriting and producing originals throughout the Covid 19 pandemic. Several singles have been appearing sporadically over the many months of 2020; Vanishing Point, Keatsean Star, Asking for a Friend, Little Trenches, Throes, The Ship Wasn’t Right, What The Heck, Next Level Stuff and, most recently, Honey-do List.
